Tickets coming soon

Our ticket numbers are limited. In recent years, the festival has **always sold out**. So use the [advance sale](/en/baden-in-blut/tickets) and check back here before you set off.

### How do I get my festival wristband?

Swap your ticket for a festival wristband at the day or evening box office. You can only get into the concert area with the wristband.

If you bring your Friday **and** Saturday tickets on Friday, you get the wristband for both days. You do not need to queue again on Saturday.

The beer garden is also open to you without a wristband.

## Getting there & sleeping

### How do I get there by car, and where do I park?

Take the A5 exit **Weil am Rhein**. Follow the signs for "Weil am Rhein Zentrum" and then "Dreiländergarten" (Three Countries Garden). The car park is right next to the ice rink (Eissporthalle). It is only a few metres from there to the festival site.

- **Sat nav:** Basler Straße 45, 79576 Weil am Rhein
- **GPS:** 47°35'13.6"N 7°36'24.2"E
- The car park is **free** and opens on Friday at 10:00.

Please park as close together as you can (side by side and close to the car in front), so everyone gets a space. The car park must be cleared by **Sunday, 13:00**.

**Day visitors, and if the festival car park is full:** Parkhaus Dreiländergalerie (APCOA), Europaplatz 1, 79576 Weil am Rhein, about 10 minutes on foot. At the cloakroom on site you can buy a discounted exit ticket for €10 per day. The car park is too low for motorhomes.

All details: [Getting there by car & parking](/en/baden-in-blut/anreise-parken-auto)

Please do not park on the roadside or anywhere that is not a proper parking space.

### How do I get there by bus and train?

- **From Switzerland, Freiburg or Frankfurt:** to Weil am Rhein Hauptbahnhof
- **From the Wiesental or Lörrach:** to Bahnhof Gartenstadt
- **From Basel:** tram line 8 from Basel SBB to Weil am Rhein Bahnhof, journey time about 25 minutes

It is about a 10 minute walk from both stations to the festival site.

### Is there a campsite?

Unfortunately, we still cannot offer camping. We are not allowed to pitch tents in the Dreiländergarten (Three Countries Garden).

**Sleeping in your car** is allowed in the festival car park and is free, as long as your car, including mirrors, is no longer than 6.0 m and no wider than 2.5 m. For larger vehicles, see the motorhome entry.

**Campsite nearby:** Drei-Länder-Camp, Grüttweg 8, 79539 Lörrach, tel. 07621 82588, [dreilaendercamp.de](https://www.dreilaendercamp.de). From Lörrach station, take the train to Weil am Rhein Gartenstadt.

### Can I come with a motorhome?

Motorhomes are allowed. Where possible, they are parked on separate pitches.

Motorhomes and similar vehicles (2.5 m wide or wider, or longer than 6 m, including mirrors) pay **€20 for the whole festival**; small cars with a roof tent up to VW-bus size pay **€10**. Please have the exact amount ready if you can, and follow the parking crew's instructions. The heavy metal club *Keepers of the T.O.O.M.* looks after the pitches. The fees go directly to them as a donation.

## Food, drinks & paying

### How do I pay for food and drinks?

At the festival, you pay at all food and drink stands with **vouchers** (Verzehrkarten). You can get them at the box office, worth €20 and €50, cashless or in cash.

- You can get the remaining balance and your deposit back at any time, at the latest **30 minutes after the concert ends**.
- Any balance not paid out expires when the festival ends and is not valid next year.
- Vouchers are **not valid at the merch stands**.

### Can I pay by card? Where can I get cash?

Since 2024, you can pay cashless at the festival. This covers food and drink vouchers (Verzehrkarten) at the box office and the Baden in Blut merch.

The **external merch stands** may not be able to take card payments. So bring enough cash for your favourite shirts. We cannot give you cash.

The nearest banks are about a 10 to 15 minute walk away:

- Commerzbank, Hauptstraße 293/1
- Sparkasse Markgräflerland, Hauptstraße 279
- Volksbank, Hauptstraße 381

### What is there to eat and drink?

You can look forward to a choice of food stands with different kinds of food. We try to cater for meat eaters and vegetarians equally.

For drinks, there is everything from beer to coffee, water and cocktails. We keep prices as fan-friendly as possible. The festival survives, and thrives, on your great thirst!

### Can I bring my own drinks?

Per person, you may bring **a maximum of 2 × 0.5 l of water in PET bottles** into the beer garden and the concert area.

**Alcohol you bring yourself** is banned on the whole festival site. This includes plastic bottles and the beer garden, which you can enter without a ticket. We reserve the right to confiscate it.

Glass is banned on the whole site.

### Where can I have breakfast, shower or swim?

The [LAGUNA Badeland](https://www.laguna-badeland.de/de/) is within walking distance of the site. There you can shower, cool off, jump from the 3 m board, chill, play beach volleyball and have breakfast.

- The open-air pool opens on Saturday and Sunday **as early as 9:00**. The Laguna team has breakfast ready for you.
- Since 2026, entry is **included with the 2-day pass**. Day visitors pay €6.

For more breakfast options and shopping, walk about 10 minutes towards Weil am Rhein Hauptbahnhof.

Please do **not** swim in the ponds and streams in the Dreiländergarten (Three Countries Garden). It is forbidden.

## What can I bring?

### Which bags and backpacks can I bring?

In the **concert area** (infield), these rules apply:

### Can I bring my dog?

**Dogs are not allowed in the concert area.**

On the rest of the site, your dog may only be with you, on a lead and, if necessary, muzzled. If you leave it unattended, you must tie it up at a suitable distance from the site.

Dog mess is not tolerated on the site. Please find a suitable spot outside for your dog to do its business, ideally a dog toilet.

### Is there a cloakroom?

Since 2024, there has been a staffed cloakroom near the box office with 500 spaces, for **€3 per item**. Please still keep your valuables with you. We accept no liability.

## On site

### Where exactly does the festival take place?

Since 2016, the festival has taken place in the large **Dreiländergarten** (Three Countries Garden) in Weil am Rhein. It is the site of the Grün 99 garden show (Landesgartenschau), right where Germany, France and Switzerland meet.

The landscape park has many trees that give shade even on hot days. The site is split into the **concert area** (wristband only) and the **beer garden**, which is open to everyone.

### Can I go to the beer garden without a ticket?

Yes. The beer garden with merch and food stands is open to all visitors, even **without a ticket**. The same rules apply there: no glass and no alcohol you bring yourself.

### Are there earplugs?

You can get earplugs **free at the evening box office**. Higher-quality earplugs with a case cost €1 at various stands.

### I have lost something. What now?

During the festival, the people at the **evening box office** are your contact for lost and found items.

After the festival, write to [contact@metal-maniacs.eu](mailto:contact@metal-maniacs.eu). We may have found it while clearing up. Anything not collected by Sunday goes to the [Fundbüro der Stadt Weil am Rhein](http://www.weil-am-rhein.de/pb/stadt,Lde/Home/Rathaus+_+Buergerservice/Buergerservice.html) (the town's lost property office).

### What rules apply on the site?

- **No far-right scene:** Anyone who shows clear signs of belonging to the far-right scene, with shirts, gestures or anything else, is removed from the site immediately.
- Damage to property, destruction of the park and aggressive behaviour lead to immediate expulsion and a report to the police.
- Please do not move the beer tables and benches.
- Put your rubbish, especially glass, in the many bins.
- Please do not pee all over the place. There are enough toilets.
- Leave the fences alone. We haul them around every year and know how heavy they are when they fall on someone.

## Age & accessibility

### What age do I need to be to attend the festival?

German youth protection law (JuSchG) applies. Young people **under 16** may only enter the site with an adult.

If you cannot bring an adult, bring this form, completed and signed: [Parental consent form (Erziehungsbeauftragung, PDF)](/downloads/erziehungsbeauftragung-baden-in-blut.pdf). The form is in German.

Young people **aged 16 and over** may stay **until midnight** without a written declaration of consent from a parent or guardian. To stay longer, they need the signed declaration.

Details are in our [terms and conditions](/en/agb).

### What do children and teenagers pay?

- **Up to and including age 8:** free entry to the concert area
- **9 up to and including 13:** half price
- **From 14:** normal admission price

Reduced tickets are available in the online shop. We check your proof at the entrance.

Remember ear protection for children.

### Is the festival accessible?

We are a small festival. We do not have the infrastructure to make the whole site accessible.

If you need support, write to us at [contact@metal-maniacs.eu](mailto:contact@metal-maniacs.eu). We will try to arrange something so you can enjoy the festival as much as possible.

With a severe disability card (Schwerbehindertenausweis) with the **"B" mark**, you pay the reduced admission price and your **companion gets in free**. Reduced tickets are available in the online shop. We check your proof at the entrance.
