Weather
The forecast still shows a chance of thunderstorms or showers on Friday, while Saturday looks good at the moment. In other words: we have to expect showers again. Prepare accordingly. But a bit of cooling down after the heatwave wouldn’t hurt, either. In our cloakroom you can park your stuff for 3 EUR per day.
Please take a look at our “Behavior during severe weather” page and offer others shelter in your car if there is a risk of severe weather. Take care of yourselves! We are watching the weather during the festival and will inform you in good time. We have also gotten rain ponchos for you. You can get them at the cloakroom if needed.
But we’re staying optimistic!
Your packing list should include:
Sunscreen, mosquito spray, cap, sun hat, rain cape, a sweater for the evening.
The beer is chilling, the cocktails are being prepared. The Baden in Blut Stage is being built. As per tradition, here are the last news before the festival for you.
You can find all grounds opening times and parking lot opening times in the Festival FAQ.

Cooperation with the LAGUNA open-air pool. Pack your swim trunks!
Definitely pack your bikinis and swim trunks!
This year we have a mega cooperation with the LAGUNA open-air pool lined up for you:
On Saturday and Sunday, the pool opens at 9 a.m., an hour before its regular opening time, exclusively for festival guests, and awaits you with a big breakfast and a beer garden at the pool!
And the best part?
This year, your 2-day wristband gets you free admission to the Laguna open-air pool. You can move freely between the festival grounds and Laguna and cool down or chill in between. See note.
The Laguna open-air pool in Weil am Rhein is right next to the grounds if you need a shower or a cool-down. Distance is about 600m from the parking lot - walk past the festival grounds, always straight ahead. You’ll get there automatically. Perfect for the cannonball contest from the 3m board after breakfast.
Arrival, parking & sleeping in your car
Please park space-savingly – use public transport!
The BADEN IN BLUT Festival has a great connection to the public transport network. The parking lot is at its capacity limit. Check whether you’d like to arrive by bus, train or tram. You can read more about getting here here .
We ask ONE-DAY visitors to head for the alternative parking garage. See Arrival and parking .
Parking fees
20 EUR parking fee for motorhomes - 10 EUR parking fee for smaller vehicles with a roof tent, etc. The parking fee is collected in cash on site. If possible, have the exact amount ready.
Parking for regular cars is free in the parking lot right by the grounds. The parking lot has limited capacity. So please park as space-savingly as possible! Please follow the parking signs and our parking attendants on site.
When the parking lot is full, we have arranged discounted parking tickets for you for the nearby Dreiländergalerie parking garage. You can pick up discounted exit tickets at the CLOAKROOM at the festival. With these you can stay until 12 noon the next day for 10 EUR.
We ask one-day visitors without overnight stays to drive directly to the parking garage. All info here .
Please be so kind as to take your trash with you or throw it in the trash bins . We’ll make sure the parking lot stays clean. For space reasons, excessive camping in the parking lot is not allowed: that means no gazebos, open fire, grilling or similar.
Nobody will say anything if you cook something on your camping stove or make coffee, as long as you keep the through roads clear. We know you’re sleeping in the parking lot.
Use the toilets and the flush toilets in the parking lot or on the grounds and keep the bushes clean! The park is heavily used by residents and children .
The parking lot stays open all night. The flush toilets on the grounds are accessible.
New this year: there is a public toilet in the parking lot . It will also be open this year. Please keep it clean!
If the parking lot should fill up, head for our alternative parking lot.
More on that here (click) .
Please do NOT park in the parking lot of the Impulsiv right next door, or at the roadside, or you will be towed!
Please do not under any circumstances drive home drunk after the festival! The local police will certainly be ready and checking.
The parking lot should be cleared by 1 p.m. on Sunday at the latest. Make sure you’re fit to drive again by then.
BADEN IN BLUT clothes: Merchandise
Baden in Blut merchandise only opens on FRIDAY.
As always, you can get the matching BADEN IN BLUT festival clothing from our Blood Merchants Pascal & crew.
We have a huge range of cuts, designs, shirts and zip jackets for women, girls, kids, boys and men! So best drop by right away. We have more visitors than ever and expect the merch in the popular sizes to sell out relatively quickly.
This year also with a gym bag to stash your freshly bought merchandise in. It looks good on you, too! By buying merch you support us in a very special way.
Careful: Pascal sells everything these days. Make sure you don’t accidentally get sold, too ;-)
Advance sales
This year the festival is completely sold out on all three days. There will be no more tickets at the day box offices.
Kids
Since after 21 years we’re partly already in the third generation, we are a child-friendly festival.
Please watch out for the small, enthusiastic young metalheads who might accidentally wander between your legs.
Backpacks and bags
Bags are checked for dangerous items or self-brought drinks when entering the beer garden.
Self-brought drinks are generally not allowed in the beer garden. We reserve the right to dispose of them. 2x 0.5l of water in a PET plastic bottle or Tetra Pak is okay. 0.4l of water on the grounds costs 2.00 EUR.
We make sure water is cheap for you.
Backpacks are generally allowed in the beer garden. However: no large bags and backpacks may be brought into the stage area! Anything up to the size of a DIN A3 sheet (approx. 30cm x 40cm) is okay. Please leave pointed or potentially dangerous items etc. at home! Anything larger has to be left with the security staff (at your own risk) or can be taken to the cloakroom.
BADEN IN BLUT reusable cup (3 EUR deposit)
This year, of course, we again have our shapely, perfectly refined top-notch cups with a 3 EUR deposit. Keep that in mind when you buy your consumption cards. For the first round you need correspondingly more credit.
NOTE: Deposit return of empty cups only at the voucher counter at the cash desk, not at the stands! Empty cups are of course swapped directly for full ones at the stands.
Smoking
Pocket ashtrays
We’ve received good feedback on the smoking area.
We urgently ask smokers to use the pocket ashtrays, smoking areas and the ashtrays in the beer garden, as we want to reduce the litter problem with cigarette filters. On Sunday we have to painstakingly pick up the butts one by one by hand. There are much nicer ways to spend time …
Wristband distribution
Wristband distribution starts on Thursday when the grounds open at 4 p.m.
Glass, trash & behavior
Please leave your glass bottles in the car in the parking lot! Consuming self-brought drinks is prohibited in our beer garden. We are groaning under inflation, too, but at 4.00 EUR for a beer we are still comparatively very cheap!
BADEN IN BLUT is a peaceful, family-like festival. And it will stay that way. Please look out for each other! We have zero tolerance for willful damage, broken glass and hassling! – So far it has only happened very sporadically. In case of gross misconduct and hassling, we reserve the right to throw you off the festival grounds and issue a ban for the following year.
Enough chatter!
You can find all further info in our Festival ABC. Do take a look!
We’re looking forward to the best Baden in Blut Festival of all time with you!
