SATYRICON headline BADEN IN BLUT Festival 2026 Saturday!

SATYRICON – Headliner of Baden in Blut Open Air 2026

They are darkness and flame all at once, primal force and hypnotic grandeur – SATYRICON will lead Baden in Blut Open Air 2026 deep into the abyss of Norwegian Black Metal as our headliner!

For over three decades, Sigurd “Satyr” Wongraven and Frost have embodied a band that hasn’t just shaped Black Metal but continually redefined it. From sinister milestones like Nemesis Divina to the uncompromising modern power of Now, Diabolical, The Age of Nero, or the self-titled Satyricon album, their body of work spans something raw, majestic, and utterly timeless. SATYRICON stand for evolution without betraying the essence.

Live, SATYRICON are a force. Cold, crushing, relentless – and yet full of hypnotic grandeur. Frost’s devastating precision on drums clashes with Satyr’s commanding presence and the unmistakable aura that draws entire crowds into darkness. No theatrics – only power, atmosphere, and absolute devotion.

As a festival and as fans, we are incredibly proud to bring a band to our stage that has accompanied us since the beginning of our own journey – a band that now ranks among the most important and influential forces in Black Metal worldwide. This appearance is more than a booking. It is a dream coming true.

As the headliner of Baden in Blut Open Air 2026, SATYRICON will rule the night and unleash a final ritual that will burn itself into your memory forever.

This is not nostalgia.

This is living, breathing Black Metal at its highest level.

Now, Diabolical! 😈
